The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Zamfara State Chapter, has received with deep shock the news of the demise of the Secretary of Kwara State Chapter, Mrs. Mariam Abdulkadri Yusuf.
The Zamfara Chapter, under the leadership of the Chairperson, Comrade Jamila Musa Kanoma, describes the death of Mrs. Yusuf as a great loss not only to Kwara NAWOJ and her family, but to the entire NAWOJ family nationwide.
She was a dedicated, hardworking and committed journalist who served the association with passion and diligence.
On behalf of the entire members of NAWOJ Zamfara State, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Kwara State Council, her family, colleagues and friends.
We pray that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her Aljannatul Firdaus and gives the family and the NAWOJ family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
