ALL Best Logistics Limited, a trucking company, has opened a new office in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, with a commitment to creating job opportunities and reducing the unemployment rate among the youth in the state and the Southeast region.
Basil Okene, the General Secretary of the company, made this announcement during the launch of the new branch in Abakaliki. He mentioned that the company conducted thorough feasibility studies on the trucking industry and identified several challenges that it intends to address.
Okene expressed optimism that the new branch would create over 100 jobs for the local community, with many more employment opportunities expected to arise in the next five years.
“We have carried out a feasibility study and critically assessed the trucking industry in Ebonyi State and the South East as a whole. We discovered various loopholes in the industry, and that is why we are establishing All Best Logistics Limited in Ebonyi State. Our mission and vision focus on delivering a timely and efficient trucking system,” he said.
“By setting up operations in Ebonyi State, the government and the citizens will benefit from the employment opportunities available not only to the people of Ebonyi but also to residents from neighbouring states.”
“Our core values include honesty, transparency, integrity, and teamwork. The people of Ebonyi will experience these values, along with the job opportunities we will provide.”
He noted that there are currently more than 20 new trucks, each accompanied by an assistant driver. He also pointed out a significant administrative building for officials who will manage the company’s operations.
“I estimate that we will create around 100 jobs, but this is just the beginning. Over the next five years, we plan to hire many more people,” Okene added.
The state Commissioner for Industry and Business Development, Oguzor Offia-Nwali, described the establishment of the company in the state as timely. He assured that the state government would provide a conducive environment for All Best Logistics and other businesses to thrive.
