The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT Chapter, has felicitated with Muslim sisters of the association, on the celebration of this year’s EID-EL-MAULUD.
In a goodwill message, the Chairperson Comrade Bassey Ita Ikpang urged Muslim women to use the occasion to reflect on the values of peace, love, humility, and unity as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). She noted that these values are essential in strengthening families, communities, and the nation at large.
“On behalf of the FCT Chapter of NAWOJ, I wish our Muslim sisters a joyous and peaceful EID-EL-MAULUD. May this celebration bring blessings to every family and to our nation,” she said.
NAWOJ FCT extends warm special greetings to the National Chairperson of NAWOJ, Comrade Aisha Ibrahim, and the National Secretary, Comrade Wasilah Ladan, appreciating their continued leadership and dedication to advancing the cause of women journalists across the country.
