Chidibere Egwu Goodluck, the National Vice Chairman of the PDP for the South East, announced yesterday that the party will tour the 171 political wards in Ebonyi State to identify genuine party members ahead of its upcoming congresses.
He stated, “We are preparing for the Congress soon. When the date is set, I will inform everyone.”

Goodluck emphasized the importance of engaging with stakeholders from all corners of the state, including discussions at the local government level. “We will engage with the 13 local governments to identify those who are truly part of the party,” he said.
“We are currently working on membership cards. We are reaching out to those who have lost hope to remind them that the PDP is the bedrock of democracy.”
He noted, “I thank God that the PDP has produced about 90% of successful politicians. I am committed to reviving the party’s voice. We will hold discussions with the major stakeholders of the PDP in Ebonyi State to ensure a free and fair Congress, as mandated by the party’s Constitution.”
Goodluck outlined the steps for a successful Congress: “After purchasing the forms, we will call a meeting of the stakeholders. Once the forms are purchased, we will proceed with screening. The date for the Congress will then be communicated to the National Leadership.”
He urged party members to remain hopeful, assuring them that the PDP will soon make a strong comeback.
