PRESS CONFERENCE ON THE NNDI PRESIDENTIAL TOWN HALL AND THE STATE OF THE NATION AHEAD OF 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA TO DAY 21st NOV. 2022
Gentleman of the Press, Distinguished members of National Executive Steering Committee – of New Nigeria Dream Initiative, and my follow Nigerians.
Ahead of 2023 presidential Election history is about to be made for the first in NIGERIA, as NEW Nigeria DREAM Initiative predict the toughest Presidential Elections with possible run – off. Therefore, NNDI is Mobilizing and educating Nigerians across the 8,813 Wards ahead of the general elections
NEW NIGERIA DREAM INITIATIVE (NNDI) has invited 545 Grassroots Representatives five (5) each drawn from the 109 Senatorial Districts of Nigeria representing 18Million “New Nigeria Dream subscribers and members across the Nation who are valid voters, out of which 2.9milion are newly registered Voters waiting to collect their PVCs.
The 545 delegates of NNDI as grassroots representatives will be convening at NICON Luxury , Abuja, 3days from today precisely on 24th November 2022 in an decisive & interactive brainstorming interface with 18 Presidential candidates contesting in the 25th February 2023 on the way forward to birthing a “New Nigeria” of our Dream. Boiling issues of Oil theft, fuel subsidy, insecurity, epileptic power supply, bad roads, unemployment, high cost of living, disunity, lack of infrastructures, incessant ASUU Strikes/ deficit in education and health, bad Governance among other issues of National threats will be areas of interest to the Presidential Town Hail delegates.
NEW NIGERIA DREAM INITIATIVE is to have a Nation of our pride that will compete with the advance Nations of the World such USA, Europe Countries, China and other advance democracies which ought to be established through proactive and visionary new leadership come 2023.
To this end our Nation is at Cross road, as too many confusions in the minds of Nigerian voters; hence, Presidential Town hall meeting will enable our Grassroots Representatives interact with these Presidential candidates closely to get clear understanding of their Policies directions regards to solving practically many of the challenges bedeviling our Nation.
This PRESIDENTIAL TOWN MEETING will shape the mindset and decision of the delegates as they return home to start mobilizing and educating other Grassroots members on how to direct their votes for the presidential election ballots come 25th February 2023. .
HOWEVER,, let me make it clear that this Presidential Town Hall Meeting is different from what has been in the public domain so far, as it is Grassroots driven and as such any candidate who decides to boycott this event may has something hidden or doesn’t want Nigerians to know his or her intentions to governing our Nation or just mere incompetence and as such NNDI will not support such candidates.
Finally, we plead with the FEDERAL and states government to allow all level playing ground for all Candidates to campaign in a peaceful manner and shut name calling and hatred campaigns rather issue driven campaigns. NNDI will mobilize against anti-people Candidates; it can no longer be business as usual.
