2025 : FCT NAWOJ Charge Members to Renew Commitment, and Enhance Professionalism

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT Chapter, has reaffirmed its dedication to promoting professionalism and improving members welfare as the new year unfolds.

In a New Year message signed by Chairperson, Comrade Bassey Ita Ikpang, and Secretary, Comrade Nkiruka Okeke, NAWOJ FCT congratulates members on entering a new year, urging them to embrace renewed vigor, commitment, and resilience amidst the country’s economic challenges.

This year, we call for collective action in advocating for women and children’s Rights, gender equality, eliminating gender-based violence, promoting inclusivity, and collaborating effectively to develop our Association and society through ethical, impactful journalism.

To our esteemed members, your dedication and support last year were exemplary. Together, we achieved remarkable feats; let’s surpass them this year, 2025.
