Today, I join family, friends, colleagues and the sporting community in celebrating an outstanding coach, accomplished football tactician and dedicated mentor, Coach Jubril Yussuf Kenny, Head Coach of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Abuja, as he marks another remarkable year.
Coach Jubril has carved a niche for himself in football development through hard work, discipline and an unwavering commitment to discovering and nurturing young talents. His impressive coaching journey speaks volumes. As the Director/CEO of Winner Football Academy International, he has continued to shape the future of aspiring footballers, while his stint as Head Coach of Mailantarki Football Club in the Nigeria National League (NNL) further established his reputation as one of Nigeria’s respected football coaches.
His remarkable achievements on the international stage, including leading his team to victory at the 2024 Dana Cup in Denmark and reaching the semi-finals of the 2024 Norway Cup, remain shining testimonies to his technical brilliance, resilience and passion for excellence. His continued service as Head Coach of Kingdom Heritage Model School (KHMS) further reflects his dedication to grassroots sports development and youth empowerment.
Beyond the touchline, Coach Jubril is admired for his humility, professionalism and unwavering commitment to mentoring the next generation of athletes. His leadership has inspired countless young people to believe in their dreams while promoting discipline, teamwork and excellence as the foundation of success.
