The Niger State Ministry of Water Resources and Dams Development has called on students to be diligent, committed and responsible in the pursuit of academy excellence.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Akilu Musa Kuta, made the call when he received Students of Delight college of health technology Minna on Industrial Training (IT), at his office in Gidan Ruwa on Monday.
He encouraged the students to always be willing to add to their knowledge and ask questions or seek clarifications, especially when they are in doubt.
The Permanent Secretary assured the Students that the Ministry will support them to achieve their objectives, pointing out that the New Niger agenda of the Present administration in the State is determined to improve the standard of education and ensure the success of every Student
The leader of the IT Students, Yunana Musa, appreciated the ministry for accepting them, stating that they are in the ministry to acquire practical knowledge of some of the things they have been taught in school.
He also promised that they will adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the ministry to protect the integrity of their school.
Earlier the Director of water supply and quality control, Engineer Alhassan Adamu who presented the IT students to the permanent secretary, assured that he will ensure the students are effectively exposed to the practical knowledge of their field of study.
