National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has called on Imo people to reflect their love again by voting for all candidates of the party in 2023 from President to House of Assembly.
Anyanwu made this appeal weekend while addressing Imo people who trooped out en-mass to receive the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who was in Imo state to flag off his campaign ahead of 2023 elections.
According to Anyanwu, Imo state and its citizens were better of when PDP was in power, urging them to show support again to guarantee good governance from 2023.
The PDP National Secretary further said that in as much as the people’s interest were divided due to political leanings, there was need for them to look at the previous achievements of PDP when it held sway and vote all its candidates in the poll.
He said that since 1999, PDP has not disappointed Nigerians, noting that under the successive administration of the party, the economy of the country received major boost.
Anyanwu regretted that within seven years of APC government, the country did not only loose image credibility but has lost its youths to banditry, terrorism and kidnapping occasioned by insecurity.
He maintained that PDP remains the only credible alternative that can guarantee peace, unity, development, economic growth, safety of lives and property.
