Comrade Anyim Chisom Godswill, son of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has received an endorsement from the traditional ruler of Akaeze Autonomous Community, HRH Pharmacist Obasi Eziaku, for his 2027 ambition to represent Ivo State Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
Godswill is seeking to contest the seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The endorsement by the traditional ruler is expected to feature in discussions surrounding the aspirant’s political ambition in Akaeze and the wider Ivo political landscape.
Godswill’s aspiration comes as political activities gradually build ahead of the 2027 general elections, with aspirants seeking support from community leaders, party members and other stakeholders.
The royal endorsement highlights the traditional ruler’s expressed support for Godswill’s ambition, although the outcome of the contest will ultimately be determined by the electoral process.
