His Most Eminence the Baba Aladura, Elder (Dr) DL has advised young mothers in the Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church (ESOCS) especially the Mount Zion Youth Society females to desist from wearing transparent garment without lining.
He also created the Directorate of Women Affairs to be headed by the Three titled Mothers and to be managed by the Executive of the National Women Association.
The Baba disclosed this to the women at the just concluded 12th Baba Aladura’s Women Conference held at the Mount Zion National Headquarters in Lagos in his opening address.
He said he observed the transparent garment dress code during his tour of provinces.
“I must let you know that your dressing code in the House of the Lord, particularly the younger mothers, MZYS females is a source of worries to me”.
He continued” I discovered that many of our women in the category above still use very transparent materials for their garment without lining and wear their various caps not properly seated on their head”.
He however called on Senior Mothers in the provinces to rise up to this challenge and address it urgently.
Adding that failure to do that he would instruct the Army of Salvation Band to take drastic action to curb the menace.
He also informed the women that in the last Board meeting held on the 13th of April 2023, the Directorate of Women Affairs has been created and it is been headed by the three titled Mothers and managed on behalf of the Executive of the National Women Association.
Furthermore, with effect from 2024 His Most Eminence, the Baba Aladura said that the Saturday preceding the Baba Aladura’s Women Conference has been declared as Women Retreat Day.
The Secretary to the Holy Order, His Eminence, Elder (Dr) Napo Emuchay the Baba Aladura said would advise the women further on the above matter.
In conclusion, he said, dearly beloved ESOCS women, let me once again appreciate you for the journey so far, your resilience, commitment and sacrifices but like the saying goes, to whom much is given much is expected “.
