The Dagachi of Boruwa ward Shehu Abubakar in wushishi local government area alleged snatching over 260 thousand naria meant for Healthcare facility from his primary health care (PHC) Director.
The Director PHC of wushishi local government. Shehu Usman affirmed to this during the interface with all the 25 PHC directors with Niger state House of Assembly House Committee on Health Nutrition and primary health care at the complex.

Speaking ,Director health planning and research statistics with the Ministry of PHC Dr.Inuwa junadu disclosed that the National health Act 2014 was passed into law by National House of Assembly
He said the key purpose is to make provision for Basic health fund making all Nigerians get basic minimum of Healthcare intervention,adding that everyone get access to quality healthcare and affordable Healthcare without untold hardship including financial hardship.
He explained that the funding comes under the one percent of the consolidated revenue fund of the federal government that is earmarked as the Basic health provision fund ,stating that its shared between the four agencies, ministry of primary health care, National health insurance agency,Emergency management treatment and National Nigerian center for disease control to take care of epidemics.
Further stated that in Niger state there is 274 wards which each ward gets 300 thousands ,/750 to focal facilities ,saying the ward is eligible to get is funding if retire the previous quarter as disbursement is quarterly.
Dr.Inuwa also disclosed that the National Health insurance Agency some percentage are sent into state insurance scheme, while assessment is done accessing the vulnerable that can not afford Healthcare services at all register and enroll them to enjoy health care facilities.
However the Committee Chairman pharmacy Umar Nasiru member representing paikoro Constituency in his opening remarks seeks the cooperation of the Directors by reviewing the right information needed to help ease their work,stressing that the legislators are not to witchhunt but to fix things in order.
Meanwhile, the Committee unamouisly recommend that all the District heads / royal fathers be removed from the committee Nicare facilities project ,secondly a retreat be organized in order to widen their knowledge .
The Committee recommends also that all transactions should be made from government account to the sellers account to avoid financial mismanagement.
