Today, on Day 3 of the 16 Days of Activism, we amplify a simple truth:
Every survivor’s voice matters. Every story deserves to be heard.
Gender-Based Violence continues to silence countless women and girlsbut our collective action can break that silence. Today, we recommit ourselves to creating safe spaces where survivors can speak without fear, where justice is accessible, and where accountability is not optional.
As journalists and advocates, we must continue to:
🔸 Spotlight survivor experiences with dignity
🔸 Expose harmful practices and systems that enable violence
🔸 Push for stronger laws, protection services, and community awareness
🔸 Stand with every woman and girl whose rights have been violated
Day 3 reminds us that change begins when we listen, believe, and act.
Together, we can build a Nigeria where every woman’s voice is protected.
