As I approach 40, it’s important for me to pause and reflect on my life. Taking the time to analyze my background and past experiences is crucial because life happens so quickly, and without reflection, I might miss out on the valuable lessons that have shaped me. Our past actions often cast long shadows over our present, and if we don’t address them today, we may find ourselves facing their consequences in the years to come.

If I ever find the courage to share the story of my last decade, I know I’ll be proud of myself. This journey has shown me that I have a story worth telling—a story that could serve as a guiding light for any teenage girl navigating her own path. I’m determined to write that book, one born from deep meditation and reflection.
As these days lead up to my 40th birthday, I choose to offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to God. If you think of me, I humbly ask that you say a prayer on my behalf. Like the one leper who returned, I too come back with a heart overflowing with gratitude.
Turning 40 means different things to different people. For me, it’s a significant milestone—a time to look back at where I’ve come from and to gather strength for the journey ahead.I find solace in Psalm 103:1-5:
Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all my iniquities,
Who heals all my diseases,
Who redeems my life from destruction,
Who crowns me with loving kindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies my mouth with good things,
So that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s
