Eid-el-Maulud : APC National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, PhD, Felicitates with Muslim Faithful Across Nigeria.

The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party and Chairperson of the Governing Board, Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Asaba, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, PhD, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the nation on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In a message released through her office in Abuja, Dr. Alile described the Maulud celebration as a sacred opportunity for spiritual reflection, renewal of faith, and national unity, emphasizing the enduring relevance of the Prophet’s teachings on compassion, justice, humility, and peaceful coexistence.

“On behalf of the women of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, and in my personal capacity, I extend heartfelt greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Maulud,” she stated.

“The life and message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) serve as a timeless guide for believers and leaders alike. In a period marked by political transition, economic reforms, and global challenges, we are reminded of the values he embodied—mercy, integrity, discipline, and service to humanity. These values must inform not only our religious observances but our governance, interpersonal relations, and national development.”

Dr. Alile further urged Nigerian citizens to seize the moment for sober reflection, to pray for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the nation, and to recommit to the ideals of tolerance, unity, and moral uprightness that transcend religious and ethnic boundaries.

She praised the contributions of Muslim women in communities across Nigeria, reiterating her commitment to inclusive leadership and equal participation of women in national development, regardless of faith or region.

“As we mark this significant occasion, let us all—Muslim and Christian, Northerner and Southerner—draw strength from our shared humanity and collective hopes for a greater Nigeria. May this Eid-el-Maulud bring peace to our homes, wisdom to our leaders, and enduring unity to our beloved country.”

Dr. Alile concluded by praying for continued divine guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC-led government, and all leaders at various levels of governance, urging them to emulate the selflessness and visionary leadership of the Holy Prophet in discharging their responsibilities to the Nigerian people.

Happy Eid-el-Maulud to all Muslim faithful. May peace, compassion, and hope abide in our hearts and our nation.
