The Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt Hon. Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in the early hours of 1st June, 2023 travelled to Abuja via the newly built Chuba Okadigbo International Airport Onueke Ebonyi State.
Accompanying the Governor includes, the APC Chairman of the State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the APC Secretary of the State, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Dr. Monday Uzo and others.
Dr. Mrs. Obianuju Aloh, the former Commissioner for Aviation and Technology and the Consultant of the Airport, with Engr. Frank Ngwu and others were at the Airport to receive him before his departure.
The quality and standard of an Airport lies not in the years it was built, but in the testimonies of the passengers, based on the services rendered.
It should be noted that Ebonyi State Government is still offering free Flight to her people.
