It is said that the Golden Fish has no hiding place, and this is the case with The Good Tidings Bible Church Intl, GTBCI. Standing tall as it marked her 20th anniversary with the Theme : “Feast of Favour” under a wonderful steady growth, PST Dayo Olutayo started on a Thursday evening in RAJAB plaza, Area 3, junction, Garki, Abuja. See what God has done now, the permanent structure that’s an architectural beauty to behold. To God alone be the glory.
Maranatha 2024 was awesome, with 7 days of God’s glory pouring down and it ended with the grand finale on Sunday, 10th November, 2024, this anniversary will not be forgotten in a hurry. God will surprised many. What eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard. Mind blowing testimonies.
Presentations commenced with amazing renditions from The Symphony Choir. Next the Women of Honour Sang their hearts out in gratitude to God. The teenagers came and used the Alphabets from the word Maranatha to Preach. The Kindergarten were simply awesome with their Memory verse recitations all on point.
The coordinating Minister of the GTBCI, PST Mike Ogoro, encouraged Nigerians not to lose Hope explaining that if “we learn to put our trust on God, all the challenges we face as a nation will come to an end”.
PST Ogoro challenged Nigerians to have faith and believe in God and see things turn around in Nigeria. Explaining that at the GTBCI every member is put through a solid membership foundation training. “Good Times await Nigerians in a few months. We just need to be more prayerful and speak less negative words about our Nation Nigeria. There is power in the tongue” he stated.
Meanwhile the Chairman of the Church Council, Engr Jide Adeniji noted that the Church had faced challenges like every other Church, but “God helped us surmount them, because of the Membership Foundation Class we run at the GTBCI”.
Engr Adeniji cautioned that “it is very wrong for Christians to shy away from politics and called on them to participate in politics because according to Isaiah 9:6 When the Righteous are on The Throne the People Rejoice. We need to have more Christians in different tiers of governance”. This is wisdom.
According to Engr Adeniji, this 20th anniversary for the GTBCI, signifies new beginning for us as a church and Nigeria as a Nation. ” GTBCI has been playing her role concerning the state of the nation. And we at the GTBCI have been praying for Nigeria, because a country that does not pray or put God first is in headed for severe crisis”.
While responding to newsmen the Phenomenal Beautiful Women Leader of The GTBCI, Dr Chidima Uwajumogi, declared that “The GTBCI has overcome several challenges and that’s why we can celebrate 20 and still counting”. “Here at the GTBCI, the women are united and together, because we place emphasis on mentorship of the younger ones. The youth ministry is also doing well, we are raising quality future leaders, husbands and wives”.
A friend of the ministry, a clergyman, the General Overseer Winning Grace Chapel, Kubwa, Abuja, Nigeria, PST Alex Ilani, stated that the GTBCI has come to the light of its victory from inception in 2004, and growing from glory to glory, unhindered, despite all the obstacles.
According to Pst Ilani, “Christianity is the answer to global issues, if we keep pushing , the whole of mankind would be liberated” he concluded.
He commended Pst Mike Ogoro’s loyalty to the ministry and prayed God to honour him, the set Man of the GTBCI and the entire Council.
The high point of the grand finale of the 20th Anniversary of the Good Tidings Bible Church Intl, was the procession by the different departments, cell units and the cutting of the Cake.
