High Chief Opone attends Coronation of the Onotu Uku of Umu Ozegbe family in Ogbe Obiaruku
High Chief Johnson Opone, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency on Sunday attended the coronation of High Chief Chiekem Daphey as the Onotu Uku of Umu Ozegbe family of Ogbe Obiaruku in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
High Chief Opone reiterated his commitment and support for the development of traditional institutions in Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency.
A role he played in his days as the President General of Ndokwa National Union, Ndokwa Neku.
He also pledged to continue to give support to the traditional institutions in Ndokwa nation if elected as the member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency bearing in mind the important roles the institution plays in the society.
The intending lawmaker while congratulating High Chief Chiekem Daphey wished him Peaceful and Developmental Reign, describing him as a philanthropist, community developer and leader with high moral standing.
He enjoined the people to support and join hands with the Onotu Uku to move the community forward.
