Today, we join the global community in celebrating International Youth Day 2025. As we commemorate this special day, we the members sir Standup for Women Societies, SWS FCT Chapter, appreciate the efforts young people have put into the development of Nigeria.

In Statement jointly issued by the SWS FCT Chairperson Lib Stella Okoh Esene and Secretary Princess Lib Joy Omagha Idam, they urged young people to focus on making their families, states, and communities proud. We encourage them to avoid evil vices and instead channel their energy towards positive endeavors.
Shun Drug Abuse : We implore young people to avoid drug abuse, which can have devastating consequences on their health, relationships, and future prospects.
Empower Yourself : We encourage young people to empower themselves with knowledge, skills, and values that will enable them to make a positive impact in their communities.
Serve with Compassion : As role models, we urge young people to serve their communities with compassion, kindness, and empathy, reflecting the values of unity and service to humanity that our organization upholds.
As leaders and members of Standup for Women Societies, we recognize the importance of supporting and empowering young people. We are committed to working with youth to create opportunities for growth, development, and social impact. To this end later in the year the Chapter will unveil empowerment projects for Young people.
SWS FCT Chapter wish all young people a happy International Youth Day 2025. May this celebration inspire you to reach your full potential and make a positive difference in the world.
