JUWACI Marks Children’s Day with Heartfelt Outreach in Borno and Benue State

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to child welfare and inclusion, the Julebrama Women and Children Initiative (JUWACI) marked the 2025 Children’s Day celebration with meaningful outreach activities in Borno and Benue States.

In Borno State, JUWACI celebrated with children at the Borno Special School, Moduganari, Maiduguri, in collaboration with the Borno State Coordinator, Fareeda Mohammed Ismail, Founder of Reeda’s Foundation, and Hajiya Hassana Bunu, Founder of Women with Diverse Abilities.

The event was filled with excitement as the children received thoughtful gifts and participated in fun, interactive sessions. The outreach brought smiles and joy to children with disabilities, while also reinforcing the message of love, inclusion, and the right to quality education and care.

At the same time, the JUWACI team in Benue State extended the celebration to two orphanage homes, creating memorable experiences for dozens of vulnerable children.

The first visit was to Kids of Tomorrow Foundation Orphanage Home, located off Martin Dent Road, Agedam, Gboko West. There, the team engaged with 23 children (19 boys and 4 girls) and 11 staff members, providing food items, care packages, and entertainment to brighten their day.

The second visit was to Gidan Bege Orphanage Home, Makurdi, located at Km 5 Gboko Road, opposite Mica Rice, Oshe Uba Street. The team interacted with 38 children and 8 staff members, offering support and encouragement through gifts and cheerful engagement.

Conclusion:
Through these thoughtful and inclusive Children’s Day activities, JUWACI—alongside committed partners like Reeda’s Foundation and Women with Diverse Abilities—once again demonstrated its dedication to uplifting and empowering vulnerable children.

By reaching out to special needs students and orphans, the organization continues to affirm that every child matters and deserves to feel seen, loved, and supported. JUWACI remains committed to building a future where no child is left behind.
