2025 would be a year of sustainability – ALGON Chairman

—– Urged Tarabans to embrace Unity, Peace and Resilience.

Tarabans have been called upon to embrace unity and coexist peacefully with one another irrespective of religion or tribe.

The Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON)Taraba State Chapter, Alhaji Aminu Jauro Hassan made the call in his 2025 New Year message.

He appreciated the people of Jalingo Local Government for exhibiting the spirit of love, unity, tolerance and peaceful coexistence and urge them to maintain the tempo.

According to him, Governments at both State and Local Government can only strive and provide social services only when there is peaceful coexistence without sentiment of tribal or religious affiliations.

“We should look at ourselves as one and only one to continue sustaining the momentom of being our brothers keepers.

“I want to thank God Almighty for making it possible to cross over to 2025. I will also like to extend my appreciation to God Almighty for counting us amongst the living and to His Excellency the Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for finding me worthy to be the Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Government.

He appreciated the people of Jalingo Local Government and Taraba State in general for exhibiting the spirit of understanding, patient, love, tolerance and supportive not only to him as Chairman of Jalingo Local Government, but also to the Governor of the state.

“I appeal to the people of Jalingo Local Government and Taraba State in general to be law abiding and above all continue to support the good programs of the present administration under Governor Dr Agbu Kefas for 2025 to be a year of sustainability.

On security, he said that the government has spend much to ensure that people of the state live and sleep with their eyes close.

“I want to assure you that 2025 should be a year with a difference when we continue to sustain peaceful coexistence.

He appreciated Religious leaders and the Media for their roles played in carrying out the messages to the people and urge them to maintain the tempo.

“I am wishing the people of Jalingo Local Government and Taraba State in general best of luck and success in 2025 – he said.
