The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf on behalf of the state government has extended condolence to Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, his Spokesperson, over the demise of the son, Abubakar Sadik Bature. Sadik, aged 15 years, was confirmed dead on Thursday morning few days after a successful bone marrow transplant at an Indian hospital.

In a condolence message which the governor sent to the Director-General Media and Publicity, Kano Government House today, read: I extend deepest condolences from myself and the Kano State Government to my Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa and his family, over the sad passing of their beloved son, Abubakar Sadik Sanusi Bature.
“The loss of the young man is indeed saddening, but we take solace in the belief that he has returned to Allah’s mercy. “May the Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Firdausi,” Governor Yusuf prayed.
Meanwhile, the funeral arrangements, revealed that the late Sadik will be laid to rest on Saturday, 27th October , 2024, at Dawakin Tofa town by four o’clock in the evening (4pm).
Family, friends and other Muslims are invited to attend the funeral prayer.
