Honourable Adamu Suleiman Kpautagi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives representing Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, has commenced a series of appreciation, familiarisation and stakeholder engagement visits across Mokwa Local Government Area following his emergence as the party’s candidate.
The visits are aimed at expressing gratitude to the people and stakeholders for their support, goodwill and confidence, while strengthening relationships with the various communities and leadership structures.
As part of the engagements, Honourable Kpautagi paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Alhaji Mohammed Shaba Aliyu Ndalile of Mokwa, where he expressed appreciation for the support and goodwill extended to him by the traditional institution and the people of Mokwa.
He also shared his aspirations and sought the royal blessings, guidance and prayers of the traditional institution. The revered traditional leader prayed for peace, wisdom and success, while encouraging Honourable Kpautagi to remain humble, accessible and committed to the welfare of the people.
Honourable Kpautagi also visited the residence of the Chief Imam of Mokwa, where he expressed his appreciation for the prayers and goodwill of the religious community. The visit provided an opportunity to seek continued spiritual guidance and prayers as he begins broader consultations with stakeholders and members of the constituency. The Chief Imam welcomed the delegation and prayed for divine guidance, peace, unity and success throughout the journey ahead.
The Kpautagi team subsequently visited the APC Local Government Secretariat in Mokwa, where the Mokwa Local Government APC Chairman, Honourable Ibrahim Buka, warmly welcomed Honourable Kpautagi and his delegation. In his remarks, the party chairman called on APC members and supporters across Mokwa to remain united, steadfast and committed to the party, urging them to continue supporting the APC at all times. He emphasised the importance of unity, loyalty and collective responsibility in strengthening the party at the grassroots.
Speaking during the engagement, the Director General of the Kpautagi Campaign Team, Honourable Abbas Sani, expressed profound appreciation to the people of Mokwa for their tremendous love, support and goodwill towards Honourable Adamu Suleiman Kpautagi. He acknowledged the contributions of party leaders, stakeholders, traditional institutions, religious leaders and ordinary members of the community, assuring them that their support and confidence would not be taken for granted.
As the final engagement for the day, Honourable Kpautagi proceeded to his hometown, where he paid a visit to his people to formally seek their blessings, prayers and goodwill as he embarks on this journey of service and representation. The visit provided a meaningful opportunity for him to reconnect with his roots, appreciate his community and reaffirm his commitment to the people. His kinsmen and community members received him warmly and offered prayers and words of encouragement for a successful journey ahead.
