Niger state ministry of water resources and dams development has reaffirmed it’s commitment to collaborating with the Nigerian society of chemical engineers,Niger state chapter and other relevant stakeholders to revive the hope of the ministry as the ministry remains an important sector to humans life, hence purifying water is key.

This was made known by the permanent secretary of the ministry Akillu Musa Kuta when he received the membership of the Nigerian society of chemical engineers niger state chapter on a courtesy visit in the ministry conference hall at Gidan Ruwa.
The permanent secretary stated that the ministry remains resolute and determined to welcome all forms of collaboration as it seeks to improving the ministry productivity and enhancing efficiency which is in line with farmer governor Mohammed Umaru Bago focus on revamping the water sector in the state.
He also charged the union to come up with a formidable working plan that will enhance the effective and efficient water supply in the state.
Earlier the Chairman Nigeria society of chemical engineers, Niger state chapter Idris Mohammed Kutigi who lead the delegation emphasized that water is life and the need to do more in the water sector was essential to the human life.
He said the dream of the chapter is to have a system that works in the Water sector, stating that the rising price of chemicals in the market is worrisome, therefore there is the need to use alternatives been produced by the local engineers in order to appreciate the efforts of the engineers as well as reduce costs.
The courtesy visit which had in attendance members of the Nigerian society of chemical engineers in the state, also had the Managing Director, of NISWASEC, NISTWASSA, and RUWATSAN, Directors, and staffs of of the ministry of water resources and dams development.
