Mrs Maryam Imoke Yanah a renowned philanthropist, has been awarded the esteemed “Warrior of Hope” award for her tireless efforts in making a positive impact on the lives of others.
This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, compassion, and commitment to creating a better world.
Mrs Yanah who was ably represented by her daughter Ms Farida Imoke Yanah said her mother has been instrumental in feeding the destitute in her community, empowering women and youth and catering for the vulnerable. Ms Farida added that her mother’s philanthropic journey stated way back in 80’s.
The award was presented to her by the Vice president for prezens for charity a non profit organisation Mrs Catherine Utsalo who narrated that “we are honored to recognize Mrs Maryam Imoke Yanah for her outstanding contributions,” in contributing immensely to the growth of her community.
She emphasized that Mrs Yanah’s selfless work embodies the spirit of hope and inspires others to make a difference.
