The Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, has called on Igbos across the Country to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by remaining peaceful and avoiding any act capable of trauncating the unity of the nation.

The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu gave the advice when the Igbo Community Assembly Abuja, led by it’s Chairman, Mr. Ositadinma Nwoye paid him a courtesy visit.

Chief Iwuanyanwu, explained that Igbos should be intentional in supporting the present administration, but stressed the need for Government at all levels to ensure that Igbos are treated fairly in all aspects.

Similarly, Chief Iwuanyanwu urged the Igbo Community Assembly Abuja, who had planned a protest over the alleged illegal demolition of some buildings belonging to some Igbos in the Federal Capital Territory to stay action from such plans as he would intervene in the matter.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Igbo Community Assembly Abuja, Mr Nwoye had complained that an estate belonging to one Hon Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu was allegedly demolished illegally and urged the Igbo Leader to intervene.

Nwoye stated that the Igbos would continue to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the Country, as we have always done. Going down memory lane he explained that when the late Queen Elizabeth visited Nigeria, it was an Igbo Man’s Limousine that Nigeria used in conveying her around.

“We will support the Present administration to succeed, but he pleaded that policies should be pro-masses. And favour Igbos who have done all possible to keep the nation together and united. Government should please reciprocate the gesture to Igbos” he declared.
