Another landmark achieved as i was privileged to represent the PCRC National Chairman, Alh. Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, at the presentation of the Community Peacebuilding and Development Award to the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) by the Ufuk Dialogue Foundation, in partnership with the prestigious Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).

This recognition is a testament to the rigorous and sustained efforts of the National Chairman and the entire PCRC family in promoting peace, community development, dialogue, and stronger relationships between communities and security agencies.
The award is particularly significant because peacebuilding is not merely about responding to crises; it is about preventing them before they occur. As we often say, the cost of preventing crisis is far less than the cost of maintaining peace after crisis has occurred.

Peace is not a luxury. Peace is not negotiable. Peace is a collective responsibility.
On behalf of the National Chairman and the entire PCRC family, I sincerely appreciate the Ufuk Dialogue Foundation and the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) for this recognition and for their continued commitment to promoting peace and conflict prevention in our society.
May we all continue to build bridges, strengthen dialogue, promote understanding, and work together for a safer, more peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
Peace must Prevail. 🕊️🇳🇬
