The Executive Director of Weekenders Media Commercial Limited, publishers of Weekenders Magazine, Princess Joy Omagha Idam, has congratulated renowned media scholar and communication expert, Professor Abiodun Adeniyi, on his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja.
In a congratulatory message issued in Abuja, Princess Idam described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Professor Adeniyi’s exceptional contributions to journalism, strategic communication, academia and institutional leadership.
She noted that Professor Adeniyi has over the years distinguished himself as an accomplished scholar, administrator and mentor whose wealth of experience in the media and education sectors has earned him national and international respect.
According to her, his emergence as the Vice-Chancellor of Baze University marks the beginning of a new era of academic excellence, innovation and transformational leadership for one of Nigeria’s leading private universities.

Princess Idam also commended the Governing Council of Baze University for its confidence in Professor Adeniyi’s capacity to steer the institution to greater heights, expressing optimism that his tenure would promote quality research, academic innovation and the development of future leaders.
She prayed for God to grant the new Vice-Chancellor wisdom, strength, sound health and divine guidance as he assumes the responsibility of leading the institution.
