In this event our Founder, Executive Director Hope Raisers Global Foundation receive a well deserved honour as she was recognised by this great body as A Peace Ambassador owning to the work being done by our organisation in Nigeria.
Mrs Faith Oseahume Reinhard-Ijeh who ably represented our Executive Director said that the initiative recognizes and celebrates individuals especially those who are contributing to peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and sustainable development in Nigeria.
The award presentation was preceded by various individual and panel discussions aimed to recognise the effort of people who are going out of their way and comfort zone to engage in peacebuilding activities in various parts of Nigeria geared towards establishing a society and environment that makes for development and peaceful coexistence.
Comrade Isuku V. E who ably represented the Nigeria Police Force, assured everyone that a lot has changed in the Nigeria Police Force stating that things are no longer the same in the NPF. He encouraged us to cooperate with the Police to foster peace, noting that ‘the Police is truly our friend’.
The Prestigious Award
The movie “Greatest Oaths” was launched by Ocean Portal media, as well meaning attendees donated to support the course.
Further more, as the day was winding up with the presentation of the award to the awardees, the audience were already fired up to become ambassadors of peace beginning from their immediate sphere of influence.
It was indeed a well and timely organised event given the present state of our nation.
On a note of finality, it was a privilege to have witnessed such an impactful and insightful event and an honour to have represented and received this well deserving award from Nigeria Peace Builders Initiative on behalf of our very honourable Ambassador Angonimi David-Imeh.
