The State of Georgia USA and Kano State Nigeria, to Partner on Areas of Development

The Kano State Government and that of State of Georgia’s partnership will pave the way for multiple collaborations of possible areas of development.

This was made known during an official visit of a senior government official of kano State Government, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, the Executive Chairman of Kano State Public Complaints And Anti Corruption Commission to Honourable Segun Adeyina, member, Georgia state House of representatives, at capitol Georgia, Atlanta.

Muhuyi Magaji, who was received by Honourable Adeyina, was accompanied by Ambassador Dr. Catherine Utsalo Vice President Prezens for Charity and Wasilah Ibrahim Ladan, National Secretary for Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ).

It is expected that his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf, will be officially invited to join the meeting of Georgia Africa Legislative caucus.

Part of the discussion was to build a relationship between the State of Geogia and Kano State and areas of blocking leakages in public finances as well as enchancing revenue generation.

Honourable Segun Adeyina welcomed the delegation and looked forward to a fruitful partnership.

National Secretary Nawoj, Wasilah Ladan, expressed her gratitude to Honourable Adeyina, for a warm reception and prayed that the meeting would lead to greater relationship between the two countries.

Ambassador Dr Catherine Utsalo, who is the coordinator of the meeting, lauded the initiative and collaboration while also expressing her gratitude to Honourable Adeyina for his warm reception.
