My Commitment to the Women of the FCT
Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, CON, MFR
Dear Mothers, Sisters and Daughters,
- I appreciate you. Your hard work and sacrifices sustain our families, communities and the FCT.
- I bring experience. Having served for twelve years in the Senate, including as Minority Leader, I understand how legislation and budgets affect our daily lives.

My mother and wife have shaped my values. They taught me service, sacrifice, strength and perseverance.
I will support women’s businesses through skills training, affordable financing, stronger cooperatives and fair access to contracts.
I will promote girls’ education through scholarships, mentorship and opportunities in science and technology.
I will advocate for better healthcare across the six Area Councils, especially safe pregnancy and childbirth.
I will champion women’s participation in leadership and decision-making.
I will stand with vulnerable women, including widows, women with disabilities and survivors of violence, and advocate for protection, shelters and legal aid.
I welcome accountability. Ask me questions, assess my work and hold me to my commitments.
- I ask for another opportunity to serve you, earn your trust and work with you for a better FCT.
Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, CON, MFR
