Every day, you wake up benefiting from someone else’s idea. You switch on a light, use your mobile phone, travel by air, work on a computer or use an app to make life easier.
Someone, somewhere, dared to think beyond what existed and created something the rest of us now enjoy.

However, here is a question worth asking yourself: Are you only consuming what others create, or are you creating something that will benefit others too?
From the Wright brothers’ pioneering work on powered flight to the invention of the light bulb, television, computers and mobile phones, human creativity has transformed how we live. Scientific discoveries and medical innovations continue to solve problems, while even young people are developing technologies and practical solutions that improve lives.
Imagine if these inventors had given up because of failure, criticism or discouragement. What would our world look like today? How many life-changing ideas would have died with them?
Their stories challenge us to ask: What are you creating? What problem are you solving? What will you be remembered for?
You do not have to invent an airplane or develop sophisticated technology to make a difference. You could write a book that changes lives, start a business that creates jobs, teach a valuable skill or develop a simple solution to a problem in your community.
There is something you can contribute to humanity. Discover your gifts, invest in yourself and develop your abilities. Stop waiting for the perfect opportunity. Look around you, identify a problem you can solve, write down your idea and take one practical step towards implementing it.
Learn what you need, seek guidance where necessary, start with the resources available to you and improve as you go.
Do not allow an idea that could bless others to remain permanently trapped in your imagination.
As Christians especially , we must remember that God has entrusted us with gifts and abilities to serve others.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Our gifts are not meant to end with us; they should become blessings to the world.
So, what have you been postponing? What talent have you neglected? What solution can you begin developing today? Make a decision to act. You may begin small, encounter setbacks and need to learn along the way, but do not give up simply because the journey is difficult. Pray, plan, learn, create and keep improving.
Ultimately, when your earthly journey comes to an end, may you leave this world “empty”—not because you have lost everything, but because you have poured out your gifts, knowledge, creativity and solutions in ways that have enriched humanity.
Do not leave this earth with undeveloped talents, unexplored ideas and solutions you never made an effort to bring to life.
The world should be better because you lived in it.
WHAT ARE YOU CREATING FOR YOUR WORLD? WHAT SOLUTIONS WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED FOR? 🤔
