Earlier today, Monday, 11th November 2024, the Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, Hon NWACHI, Timothy A. U inspected some internal road network constructed by Gov Nwifuru’s led administration in the Area.
The roads inspected included Unwana /Ebunwana Road and Isi Ogwuta Road all in Unwana Community
The Council Chairman who expressed satisfaction with the progress of work, applauded Ebonyi State Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his unrelenting efforts in transforming the lives of rural dwellers through the provision of critical infrastructures.
The excited Council Chairman noted that the road project when completed will reduce the sufferings of road users in the area thereby promoting socio-economic activities as well as improving significantly the quality of life of residents.
He, while extending the heartfelt appreciation of the people of Afikpo LGA to Gov Nwifuru for the massive and strategic road project which connects Unwana to Ebunwana in Edda LGA and Erei in Biase LGA of Cross River State, gave the assurance that Afikpo Local Government Area would continue to enjoy the magnanimity of Gov Nwifuru throughout his tenure.
