Deepen your knowledge of Christ in order to create positive change in today’s world – Cleric urge Christians
Emmanuel Awari-Jalingo
The Bishop of Crown of Life Bible Church House of David Inc. The Rt. Rev. Dr Innocent Rubiruka Solomon has called on members and Christian believers to deepen their knowledge of Christ in order to build spiritual capacity and experience to guarantee maximum impact and advance national and global transformation which is critically needed today.
“Christ the gift of God at Christmas who is the Power of God and Wisdom of God provides inexhaustible resource for Christian believers not only to apply and live glorious lives here on earth but to create positive impact in the world.
In his Christmas message, the Bishop stressed that the lack of adequate knowledge of Christ, Christ by whom all things were created, things in heaven and things in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominion or principalities or powers deprives believers the amazing opportunity of utilizing the depth of divine wisdom and immeasurable grace that God has provided them in Christ Jesus for manifesting excellence in dealing with many issues of their lives and engaging with society for godly impact.
According to him, Christmas is God’s highest invitation to the human race to return to the glorious place and life they lost at creation.
“The level of suffering and deprivation amongst men today which goes on from back to worse is contrary to God’s intended will and purpose at creation. Christ in us is the hope of glory.
“The gift of Christ at Christmas provides the road map for the return to the original life of glory, honour and splendour.
Bishop Solomon pointed out that if God provided Christ at Christmas as a remedy for sin, it therefore also means that Christ is the remedy for our many social problems of economic crisis, corruption, leadership failure, conflicts and only a deep knowledge of Christ can draw this divine and unlimited resource and put it to use to give humanity the peace, security and development that is so dare.
He wishes all Members and all Christians a happy Christmas and a prosperous New year.
