The Anambra State government’s efforts towards ensuring peace and security under the watchful eyes of the phenomenal governor of the State, Governor Charles Soludo, have received a significant endorsement from Peace and Media Advocacy, a pan-Nigeria security organization. The group commended Governor Charles Soludo for his proactive approach towards addressing the security challenges facing the state.

In a statement, Comrade James Okonkwo, initiator of the group, praised Governor Soludo for signing the Homeland Security Law, which has reportedly improved security operations in the state. Okonkwo also acknowledged the role of the Anambra State House of Assembly in fast-tracking the passage of the Homeland Security Bill, describing it as a demonstration of their commitment to the welfare and security of the people.
The Peace and Media Advocacy urged the people of Anambra State to support the governor’s security initiative and to be vigilant in reporting any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities. The group also called on religious leaders in the state to use their platforms to preach peace and love, and to encourage their followers to support the government’s efforts to ensure peace and security in the state.
Furthermore, the group appealed to town unions in the state to revive their vigilante groups, saying that this would help to boost security in the state and ensure that the people can go about their daily activities without fear of molestation or harassment.
The endorsement from the Peace and Media Advocacy is a significant boost to Governor Soludo’s security initiative, which aims to make Anambra State a safe and secure Haven for residents and visitors alike. With the support of stakeholders like Peace and Media Advocacy, the state government is confident that it can achieve its goal of ensuring peace and security in the state.
