Yesterday, our dear Super Eagles qualified for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Semi-finals after a solid 2–0 victory over Algeria. It was a proud moment for Nigeria, and the whole team truly deserves praise for their teamwork, discipline, and fighting spirit.

I want to sincerely appreciate every player on the pitch for giving their best. However, I would like to specially recognize a few individuals who stood out with outstanding performances:
■ Bright Osayi-Samuel: He was everywhere in defense. Very calm, very sharp, and always well-positioned. He stopped attacks cleanly without unnecessary føuls. A top-class performance.

■ Calvin Bassey: A true defensive rock. Strong, confident, and dependable at the back.
■ Ajayi: He played with so much confidence and composure. Solid defending from start to finish.
■ Frank Onyeka: Now I truly understand why he is called “The Tank.” His energy, strength, and determination were unmatched.
■ Alex Iwobi: His passes have been key throughout this tournament. He creates chances and makes things happen.

■ Bruno Onyemaechi: That cross was simply world-class. Perfect timing and execution.
■ Ademola Lookman: His ball control and decision-making are excellent. He knows when to pass and when to shøøt, even under pressure.

■ Akor Adams: His style of play is unique and intelligent. Truly impressive to watch.

■ Victor Osimhen: Our powerhouse and goal machine. Once the ball gets to him, confidence is guaranteed.

To our coach, Eric Chelle, thank you for believing in this team and bringing out the best in them. We see the work you’re doing, and we truly appreciate it.
Well done, Super Eagles. Nigeria is proud of you. On to greater victories! 🇳🇬👏
