Barr. (Mrs.) Abosede Deborah Ijadele-Adetona, Founder and International President of Standup For Women Society (SWS), has been recognised among Africa’s Top 50 Professional and Career Women for Transformative Women’s Leadership 2026.
The recognition is part of the 16th Professional and Career Women Global Awards 2026, Africa, organised by Women in Management Africa under the theme, “Global Power Shift: Women Redefining Markets & Leadership.” The award ceremony is scheduled for 11 November 2026 at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The honour recognises her longstanding leadership and commitment to women’s rights, dignity, empowerment, professional excellence and inclusive leadership through SWS.
Barr. Ijadele-Adetona expressed gratitude to the organisers, dedicating the recognition to the women, members, partners, supporters and advocates of SWS. She described it as a celebration of women who continue to rise, lead, inspire and create positive change.
She reaffirmed her commitment to advancing women’s leadership and building a more inclusive and equitable society.
