The Blessed Martins Institute of Science and Technology has recorded another major milestone as the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) granted full accreditation for additional academic programmes in the institution.

The approval followed a successful accreditation and resource inspection visit recently conducted by a team led by Pharmacist Ibrahim Salihu.

The newly accredited courses include:

Dental Technology
Public Health Technology
Pharmacy Technician
Medical Laboratory Technician
Dispensing Opticianry Technology
Nutrition and Dietetics
Computer Science
The Proprietress of the institute, Mrs. Mary Chinedu Ogah, expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty, the NBTE accreditation team, and all staff and stakeholders whose commitment and hard work made the achievement possible.

According to her, the accreditation marks another giant stride toward realizing the institute’s vision of becoming a leading centre for health and technological education in Nigeria. She reaffirmed the management’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards, providing modern learning facilities, and producing competent graduates who will contribute meaningfully to national development.

Mrs. Ogah also appreciated the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for creating a peaceful and conducive environment that supports educational advancement and private sector investment in the state. She commended his people-oriented leadership and developmental initiatives, which, she said, continue to attract positive attention to Ebonyi.

She further appealed to well-meaning individuals and investors to emulate this example by investing in education and other productive sectors to promote job creation, human capital development, and the overall growth of Ebonyi State.
