Bridging the Digital Divide : Olurunke Ojeikere Advocates for Women’s Digital Inclusion

The Initiator of Society to Heighten Awareness of Women and Children Abuse The Initiator of Society to Heighten Awareness of Women and Children Abuse Oluronke O Ojeikere on strategic engagement session on Digital Inclusion where she spoke as a Catalyst for Gender Equality in New York.

As an advocate for women rights and inclusion in all spheres of life, she informed Radio Nigeria reporter and National Secretary of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ Wasilah Ladan about women’s limited access to technology that hampers education, economic participation, and social empowerment.

Speaking further, she addressed the challenges women always tend to always experience which includes affordability, digital literacy gaps, cultural biases, and online harassment.

Mrs Ronke disclosed their action plan that will always would involve policy advocacy, capacity-building programs, partnerships, and media-driven awareness campaigns.
