In a bid to boost his administration, Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has made minor reshuffling within his cabinet to enhance the efficiency of service delivery across state ministries.

In a statement issued by the governor’s Spokesperson, The Director General Media and Publicity, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Thursday, emphasized that these modifications are part of Governor Yusuf’s unwavering commitment to enhancing governance.

During the inauguration ceremony for additional commissioners, Special Advisers, members of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC), and members of the Kano State Assembly Service Commission, Governor Yusuf highlighted that the reorganization will provide commissioners with a broader range of experiences, ultimately leading to more effective service delivery.

Among those affected by the reshuffling are Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, who has been assigned to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi, who has been transferred from the Ministry for Special Duties to the newly established Ministry of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Affairs, and Alhaji Abbas Sani Abbas, who has been reassigned from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Investment to the Ministry for Rural and Community Development.

The Governor also announced that Hon. Hamza Safiyanu Kachako, the former Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, will be assigned to a different ministry once the restructuring is finalized.

Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, one of the newly sworn-in commissioners, has been appointed to lead the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Investment.

Governor Yusuf urged the appointees to carry out their responsibilities diligently and with a sense of accountability to contribute to the overall success of the administration.
