CKACC Condemns Abduction of 177 Worshippers in Kajuru Church Attack, Kajuru Kaduna State

The Chikun/Kajuru Active Citizens Congress (CKACC) has condemned the abduction of 177 worshippers during a church service at Kurmin Wali Village in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.


In a statement released on Sunday, CKACC described the incident as “heinous and unacceptable,” calling for urgent intervention by the Kaduna State Government and security agencies to ensure the safe release of those abducted and to bring the perpetrators to justice.


The group said it stands in solidarity with the Christian community in Kajuru and expressed concern over the growing insecurity in the area. According to the statement, the Chairperson of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kajuru LGA, Reverend Enoch Kaura, confirmed the abduction.


CKACC urged authorities to take swift and decisive action while appealing to residents to remain calm and vigilant as investigations continue.
