HAILING MINISTER ARC. AHMED DANGIWA’S EFFORTS IN CLOSING NIGERIA’S HOUSING GAP

As Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa marks his two years in office as Nigeria’s Minister of Housing and Urban Development, the Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security, Good Governance, Equity, and Justice commend his efforts in addressing the country’s housing deficit.

In a press statement made available to journalists in Abuja by the national coordinator,Comrade James Okoronkwo,he stated that the Renewed Hope Housing Programme is a game changer saying that ” we particularly hail the Minister’s initiative on the Renewed
Housing Programme.

which aims to build over 10,112 housing units across the country". This ambitious project has not only provided shelter for Nigerians but has also generated over 250,000 jobs, modernizing our urban landscape and stimulating economic growth.

Furthermore, the Minister’s launch of the digital portal has streamlined housing processes, enhancing transparency and efficiency. The rollout of landmark land reforms has also improved land accessibility, making it easier for Nigerians to own homes. Additionally, the mobilization of billions of naira in private sector investments underscores the Programme’s potential to drive economic growth and development.

The Renewed Hope Housing Programme is working tirelessly to make homeownership accessible to more Nigerians, building more vibrant, modern, and inclusive communities across our nation. This initiative is a testament to the Minister’s commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians and making our cities more livable. E
