A women focused non-governmental organisation, Concerned Sisters Forum CSF, has granted loans to some members of the Association to boost their Small and Medium Scale businesses.
Speaking at a brief ceremony during the disbursement exercise in Abuja on Thursday 29th January 2026, the President and Founder of CSF Hajiya Binta Ibrahim said the loan which is a non interest loan is to support the women in making them financially independent.

She pointed out that women’s economic growth is key to national development because when women are empowered, communities prosper.
She said the loans are in categories of one million naira and five hundred thousand given to nine beneficiaries as a pilot scheme.
Hajiya Binta Ibrahim assured that more women will benefit in the next phase of the exercise.

She enjoined the beneficiaries to make sure they paid back the loans in the nine months so that others would benefit.
It may be recalled that the Concerned Sisters Forum was inaugurated in December 2025 with the aim of supporting women and making them participate actively in national development.
