Kano State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has congratulated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on his recent awards. Falgore praised the Governor’s nomination for the Best Governor of the Year Award in Education by the Telegraph Newspaper and the African Governor of the Year 2025 award.
According to Falgore, these awards from different institutions are “amazing achievements” that reflect the Governor’s commitment to education and the well-being of Kano State’s people. Falgore noted that the Governor’s hard work on various projects, especially in education and human capital development, makes him deserving of these awards.
The Governor’s track record is a shining example of the promising future ahead, Falgore added. He pledged the Kano State House of Assembly’s commitment to maintaining cordial relationships with the Executive Governor to sustain progress in education and other critical sectors.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf was recognized as the Best Governor of the Year 2024 by the New Telegraph Newspaper in Lagos for his contributions to education. He also received an award from the African Leadership Magazine in Casablanca, Morocco, for his commitment to good governance and transparency.
