The Director, National Orientation Agency, (NOA), Jigawa State, Ahmad Ibrahim has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid Adha, calling on them to use the period to pray for peace and unity of the country.
Ibrahim emphasized that peace is the bedrock of all development, noting that Nigerians, irrespective of region, tribe, ethnicity, and religion are brothers to fellow Nigerians.
He said that with collective efforts, fueled by unity of purpose and direction, Nigeria can attain the developmental goal it aspires, becoming a model in the comity of nations
The NOA Director enjoined Muslim faithfuls to reflect on the spirit of Sallah celebration in promoting harmonious coexistence, tolerance, togetherness and brotherliness.
He stressed the NOA resolve to continue to promote values of patriotism, integrity, tolerance, transparency and accountability necessary for building a peaceful, healthy and prosperous Nigeria.
