Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you)
My dearest sisters in Ithe Council
As we celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I, Hajia Lami Adamu Lau, President of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), extend my heartfelt greetings and blessings to every one of you.
The holy month of Ramadan has been a time for deep reflection, spiritual growth, and strengthening our bond with Allah (SWT). May the lessons learned and the blessings earned during this blessed month continue to guide us throughout the year.
On this Eid, let us celebrate the resilience and strength of Nigerian women. You are the backbone of our families and communities, playing vital roles in every aspect of society. Your unwavering faith, dedication, and hard work inspire us all.
May this Eid be a time of joy, laughter, and togetherness with your loved ones. May your tables be filled with abundance, and your hearts overflow with peace and gratitude.
As we celebrate, let us also remember:
The importance of helping those less fortunate. Extend a helping hand to those in need within your communities.
The power of unity. Let us come together as Nigerian women, supporting and empowering each other.
Continued devotion to our faith. May we carry the spirit of Ramadan throughout the year.
Eid Mubarak!
Hajia Lamii Adamu Lau
