Elder Timothy Oloruntoba Elerewe, a veteran journalist and hospitality mogul, celebrated his 75th birthday in grand style at his luxurious Baze 9 Gardens and Resort in Sokale, Dutse. The event was attended by Nigeria’s elite, particularly titans of the media industry, a testament to Elder Elerewe’s monumental impact.

The celebrant beamed with infectious energy, his astonishingly youthful appearance defying his years. “This joy… it’s overwhelming! Seeing my family, my friends from a lifetime in media, everyone here… it humbles me deeply. God’s grace has been my constant companion. But the greatest gift is this love, this celebration of life shared,” Elder Elerewe said.

His son, Hon Andy Elerewe, CEO of AIBEN Properties, took the stage to pay glowing tribute to his father. “Today, we celebrate not just longevity, but a life overflowing with divine favour,” Andy declared. “My father is truly a ‘Man of Grace’ – a pillar of strength, wisdom, and unwavering faith. We are profoundly grateful to God Almighty for his life.”
Andy also presented his father with a gleaming, state-of-the-art Lexus Jeep as a birthday gift. The event was attended by notable figures, including Comrade Grace Ike, NUJ FCT Council Chairman; former council chairmen; Hon. Emmanuel Bello, Special Adviser on Media & Communications, Taraba State Governor; and publishing icons such as Elder Tom Ogar and Lady Moji Danisa.
The celebration proved that at 75, Elder Timothy Oloruntoba Elerewe isn’t just ageing; he’s ascending, bathed in grace and glowing with timeless vitality.

Weekenders magazine online wishes the celebrant many more years while praying for him to keep ageing gracefully in good health and Sound Mind.
