It is with gratitude to God and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Late Lady Eunice Chintua Offor, JP, who departed this life in May 2026 at the age of 72.
Early Life and Education
Born in January 1954 to the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nzewata Onyenweama, Lady Offor spent her early years in Ghana with her late elder sister, Mrs. Gladys Ndubuisi. She returned to Lagos Nigeria in 1971 and obtained her West African School Certificate in 1972.

Driven by a passion for learning, she attended Teachers Training College and obtained the Nigeria Certificate in Education. She later earned a Bachelor of Education degree in English from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT.
Career and Service
A retired teacher, Lady Offor dedicated her life to impacting young minds through education.
Beyond the classroom, she was a versatile entrepreneur. She owned and managed a tailoring shop, hairdressing salon and confectionery, and was widely celebrated for her wedding, birthday, and event cakes. She was also an event planner.. and served as a contractor to various ministries and agencies in Abia State.

Faith and Character
Lady Offor was a devoted Christian, a member of the Order of Knights and Ladies of
. Christopher, Umuahia Diocese, and a Lay Reader in the Church. She was known for her generosity, philanthropy, and selfless service to God and humanity.
Family
She was married to the late Sir Jonah Offor, KSC. She is survived by 8 children, 1 adopted child, 12 grandchildren, one older brother, one older sister, and other relatives.
Burial Arrangements
She will be laid to rest on Friday, 4th September 2026.

Lady Eunice Chintua Offor lived a life of service, faith, industry, and love. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
