FELICITATIONS, ENCOMIUMS & TESTIMONIES as Senator EKWUNIFE Clocks 52
By Kingsley Ubani
It’s been a memorable day for family, friends and well-wishers of the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, as they create time off their schedule to celebrate the federal lawmaker as she marked her 52nd birthday anniversary, today, December 12, 2022.
Colleagues, friends, associates, staff, supporters and admirers of the lawmaker took to their different social media handles as well as pages of newspapers to felicitate with the Senator.
Ekwunife’s political sojourn which began after a successful career in the banking industry has been embellished by God’s grace – a journey propelled by the divine will.
A careful study of the amazon’s meteoric rise to political influence and affluence confirms that God is indeed the author and finisher of the fate of every human. Who would have thought that the former Regional Manager at Standard Trust Bank and Head Public Sector at United Bank for Africa (UBA) will attain such enviable height in Nigeria’s political space?
I watched and read with special interest some goodwill messages from some state governors and top Nigerian political elites, particularly that of Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state, former Governor Orji Kalu, Senator Joy Emordi, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and others. Their messages were all expressive of the celebrant’s unique contributions to humanity.
However, beyond the goodwill messages from the high and mighty, the felicitations and testimonies from average constituents and the people in the lower ladder of the society say everything one needs to know about Ekwunife who is by every consideration an embodiment of human empowerment.
Senator Ekwunife has through her courage and determination opened doors for many. In choosing to fulfill her destiny, the 52 year old has offered many the platform to fulfill theirs – little wonder one of her greatest pursuit in politics is empowerment and job creation.
As we continue to enjoy the endless testimonies and messages of goodwill, I congratulate my Senator and principal for choosing to compete where many would not. For taking arrows from detractors all for the sake of her love for her people, and above all for offering a representation that will be discussed and referred to, beyond her days in office!
