The Global Standup for Women Society (SWS) under the leadership of Barr. Deborah . A. Ijadele Adetona has congratulated the newly elected Chairperson of all Chairpersons, Lib. Mina Daniels, who also serves as the Chairperson of the FCT Chapter of SWS, who was elected following a tightly contested online election held on 18th December 2025.
In the election conducted on the official Chairpersons’ platform, Lib. Mina Daniels emerged victorious with 9 votes, defeating her closest rival, Lib. Aisha Aliyu, the Chairperson of the Sokoto State SWS Chapter, who polled 8 votes.
In a well-coordinated atmosphere, Lib. Mina Daniels was duly elected and affirmed as the winner and that she will receive the full support of members to effectively steer the affairs of the SWS Global Chair of Chairpersons for a one-year tenure. Meanwhile, Lib. Aisha Aliyu will serve as the Vice Chairperson.
In a related development, Lib. Margaret Quist-Igumah, Chairperson of the Edo State Chapter, was elected as the newly elected Secretary of Chair of Chairpersons, following her unopposed victory as the other contestant was absent.
